The School of Leadership course runs across the globe in North America, Central America and across Africa, using videos recorded at our UK training base. We hope to have more locations in future - watch this space.
Our current bases include:
Dayspring International Ministries Kitwe, was our first international location to launch School of Leadership back in 2014! The local facilitator is Joseph Mwila and he and his team oversee over 40 churches in Zambia and the region. Students travel very long distances to get to the training base and access the course.
The base in Mumias, Western Kenya started in March 2018 and is led by Wycliffe Wabuko. Wycliffe overseas a network of churches in western Kenya. Both our Kenyan basis run the full UK School of Leadership in English.
Our second base in Kenya is located in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. Fred Osore leads this base and hopes this will enable them to launch further church plants across Kenya.
Our first base in Tanzania launched in 2022 and is led by Israel Lwitiko. The translation of the whole course into Swahili is now complete which will enable both our Tanzania bases to teach the material to students in their local language.
The Dar Es Salaam base launched in December 2023, this exciting new base is well attended by local students now that they can access it in Swahili, this base is led by Frank Musaba.
School of Leadership in Mexico runs across 7 bases and is overseen by Pepe Herrera. Students work on a different schedule, where they study one lesson per week, covering a full module monthly. The translation project for material is well underway and nearly 75% of material is now translated into Spanish for our students.
School of Leadership launched in Ho back in 2018 and is led by Michael Akotia who oversees our churches in West Africa and is based at City of Grace Church in Ho. The school has celebrated many graduates completing the course which has been run in full in English.
We are looking at ways in which we can begin to support churches connecting into us in West Africa by providing our School of Leadership in French and other local regional languages. Our first base in the USA was launched in September 2023 led by Warren Stroup and Bob Elliot. The course runs really well alongside ‘Into The Word’ (link), providing a solid and in depth understanding of the Bible.
